A whole lot of Love!

A walk through the N2God Store
Saturday, April 12, 2014.

The messages and art on these Stewardship posters 'from many years'. They captivate me with moving messages of inspiration. To see them posted in the window at the N2God Store truly made my heart smile". One of my favorites "Be Not Afraid".

Words and pictures sharing how each special month of the year 'Mary Engelbreit' art were posted on the front of the refrigerator each new month  in the Tea Room. Everyone knows how I love Kansas 'change of the season's and the whimsical character of Mary Engelbriet.
January, February, March......
The Print on left is from my friend Kay N.
St. Hildegard icon print (right). Gave away 100+ of these for sure.
Oh yeah!
St Rita magnet (a gift from my friend Sherry W. travels).
A question to ponder "It is possible to reflect the love of Jesus?"  (like the folding open sign reflected in the window?) Yes.  We are made in the image of Christ filled with the gift of the Holy Spirit.

N2 Communications (Randy's business) to the right...the west...

What are your 'Hidden Strengths'? You do have them. Sometimes they can be hidden inside.

Please don't hide them, share them. I'm a work in progress and I remind myself often to be the change I want to see in the world. Thank you friends for inspiring me.

It was awesome selling 'Sally Sings' CDs here at the N2God Store. She is so gifted!!
This top shelf has had quite a few make overs. The Tea Room has been all about friendship. Some prints of my precious loved ones were returned home a few months ago. Often when I came into the back door of the N2God store I would look up and 'Hi Mom' and 'Hi Sarah'. Oh how my heart misses their alive presence!!

Cups gather on the shelves as friends gathered around my old family table many time for Cursillo grouping and Prayer and Shares. Cups on display in my Grandmother's China cabinet. I welcomed friends to choose one for their cups for tea.

A penny fountain. Filled 'Give as you have plenty'.
Just love the angels all over.

Most all of these aprons belong to the little ladies, my beloved grand-daughters...Lulu, Josie, Nicole, Beth and Anna. One Saturday the older girls came for the day and decorated their aprons personally.

'The N2God Angel'
'Blessed are all who find refuge in Him'
The N2God Store's taste of Roma's 'Sistine Chapel' in the Tea Room.
Poster was purchased in Roma.
A friend is a rare book of which but one copy is made. This wooden boat had a message for a very long time that read 'Let's be fishers of men and women'. I just love that! What we do with what God's has given to us really makes a difference.

Praise God! Thank you God, for reassuring me that I know...that I know...who I am in Christ.

Time is a gift! (I picture Sarah and Dedra carrying this clock out of the Mall in Okla. City).
How many cups of hot water have been poured from the electrical tea kettle that Kay gave me as gift?' I don't have a clue. Bird cages hold a great message ~ when you forgive you are set free (somewhat like a person in a prison) or (bird in a cage). Sometimes the first person we must forgive is ourself.
My favorite 'message in a bottle' is the bottle I created with Bishop Michael Jackel's message about the Eucharist. We miss him!

The three original oil painting are by a belated friend/artist - George Uits.

Anna's oil painting.  Delightful!

The boarder near ceiling is so pretty. I attached with straight pins very carefully.
My husband's beautiful mounted/laminated art pieces for purchase. Randy has shared so many of his gifts. His talents are amazing!!
More art cards created by Randy. I about lost my breath when I saw them for the first time.  The words/prayers on the back side are as equally beautiful. Really?  Really. And the gold and silver card stock...'Oh my!' the first words I said out loud the first time I saw them. The prayers on the backside of the religious cards are equally  important... we should display some of the prayers.
The glass cabinet we purchased in El Dorado, KS. Took me days to remove the fabric glued...yes glued on the glass. There are so many treasures for the journey all over the N2God Store. I don't understand how people don't notice them....
The 'Jesus praying over the city plaque' was gifted on Tuesday to Bishop Eugene Gerber. He is one of my favorite people in the world and just celebrated 55 years of Holy Priesthood. He encouraged me to float..... This has made all the difference in my life as I continue to live strong though the storms of my life. The candle stand has really been neat...I'd light up candles each and every time the store opened. The 'Jesus' card on left, from my friend Dan L.

This has to be my #2 favorite photo of the day!! FROG  Fully Rely On God ~ A couple of the Belgium prayer chairs. Do you see the penny on his nose? LOL. The 'Jesus' scarf... very festive for this day huh?
Some books...everyone knows I love reading books and too altering books occasionally. A load of fun.
One of the 'Crowns of Thorns' Randy and I put together from Honey Locus branches found on in our fields by Valley Center, KS.  This crafting is definitely a two-person task!

The N2God Store logo. So pretty! Sorry you missed the expression on Randy's face when he saw the '10 cents each' for small Prayer Cards'

This card stand was found and purchased in Newton, KS. On some of the 24 pack Holy cards, I attached a 3rd class relic with string. Some are still remain.

It was quite a challenge cutting art to fit on the top of this display.
Amy gave me this 'old' Singer. One day friends gathered in this 'Keeping Room' and sewed 'Prayer Flags'. It was so much fun & my friend Pamela brought her old antique sewing machine and it hummed....sewing for hours. What a great time we had!

The double faced clock was a new gift for the store.  Intriguing to me.
The gold curtain separated the store from Camera Department. A beautiful crocheted curtain on the check-out table. No smoking on this side of the curtain. Really? Really.
The reams and reams and reams and reams and reams of paper came at the beginning of the N2God Store dream. The Keeping Room sign also...and because I love to keep memories...I named this room as such. Oh my...friends & I have had so fun at these tables crafting!
The 'Keeping Room' once had a wedding dress lit up with tinkle lights in the window.
It was dreamy to say the least. That idea I found at Mrs. O'Leary's Store in Old Town. Passed on the dress to someone who wanted it...
The original 'Jesus with the Children' art from our pilgrimage to Medjugorie in 1998.  Wow! Was our suitcase ever heavy! I ask "Which person in this art most reflects how you might feel with Jesus in your midst?' "Would you be asking for forgiveness or tenderly loving Jesus with arms open wide for His embrace?"

The easel old, tall and very heavy, was purchased at Gratton's farm sale many years ago. It has  a long history of holding and securing things. We just can't seem to part with it and Randy has repaired it more than once or twice. The 'Antiques and Old Stuff' sign was given to me by my sis Mary. For quite a while...the N2God Store included Vintage and old stuff for purchase. Clothing...household....you name it...probably had it. It was a lot of fun to think about bygone days.
This prayer kneeler is used...a lot. I purchased it MANY years ago from a Cursillo friend named Mary L. Her son built these to sell as he was trying to re-build his life. I do hope he is doing well.

My second most favorite angel (pictured above). So many little bulbs have been replaced over all these years. One thought that came to mind as we renovated the store rooms... 'A light will always be left on in the N2 God store'. Another...Christmas is celebrated everyday here.

This year a huge window glass was replaced ( so sad...someone intentionally broke it). We are/were blessed by the land lords kindness. He replaced the glass right away and didn't bill us.

Angel bowl of pennies and holy cards available to all. The cash register behind the Sacred Heart of Jesus and Immaculate Heart of Mary... 'rang up mostly blessings'....very quietly, not making a sound.

'Samaritan women at the well'
'The Good Samaritan'
'The Last Supper'
Purchased these 'Scripture Word Print' plaques just a few weeks ago from an estate sale. Very unique. The only other art I've seen similar is Amy's art of 'Notre Dame' Cathedral created with musical symbols.
A look into the 'Keeping Room' at the N2God Store.

Yes, the N2God Store was open on Saturday, April 12, 2014.

Randy helped me create the above folding wooden sign.  We certainly utilized what we had to work with, staying on a shoe string budget. It reminds me of the time many years ago, I sold Avon and Longerberger baskets and I was my own best customer.

On Saturdays when I opened the N2God Store, I tossed three pennies on the sidewalk and said a prayer to the Holy Trinity.

Outside the 'Keeping Room' window on West 2nd Street.
Oh my...I see the reflection of me and my car!

A special cross (one of a collection of six) given to me by Wayne P.

The N2God Store is Enthroned to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and Immaculate Heart of Mary.

Each month Mary Engelbreit art was posted on the front of the refrigerator.
Silk red tulips tucked into an old umbrella.

'Bloom Where You're Planted'
Oh my! I planted the messages that came to mind though faith 'all over the place'.
I remember one message I placed on the crumbling plaster wall in the restroom reading-
"All things pass away EXPECT God"
A double 'prayer kneeler'. Maybe used at one time in a marriage?

We have 'holes' in the linoleum. 'A holy place'. So this is a holy place!
The floors were scrubbed and scrubbed and scrubbed. Stains from chemicals remained.

A bit of my 'Patty in Oz collection'. The rest in  a cupboard.
The Victorian Rose lamp...'a hearts desire'
'Conception Abbey' prints of the seasons above.
A poster from Roma mounted in the Tea Room.

Some special 'tea cups' art.

Blessed Pope John Paul II (art above). Soon to be another favorite Saint.
God is so good!!
My Grandmother Allen's dining room hutch. It's funny how things that go around some times come back around. This was with family in Waterloo, Belgium for five years.

My desk in the Tea Room. Another decorated tree for the season.
The Easter tree has both eggs and springtime garden adornments (which our grand-daughters provided).
A look from the Tea Room into the N2God Store. Really neat is seeing Wichita's 'Indian of the Plains' sculpture/art out the window across the Little Arkansas River. I remember sitting at my desk watching the snow falling in the night out the window)...one of the most beautiful things I ever saw in my life. I talked a lot with Jesus that night.

Our antique closet/dresser on the right side of the door (filled with interesting clothing).

This was my daughters home computer chair. Often...I wondered what she was thinking when she sat in it. It made me feel a little closer to her presence as I love and miss her immensely. At one time, I carried it to my office at work. Used it for a long while.... then one day I took it to the N2God Store.
Pictured above my newest journal to continue to record more of my life memories.  A plan is in place to revisit my memories as I travel into the senior years ahead, God willing. Think about this...you are writing the story of your life by all the many choices you make. I love words. Many moons ago I learned that words are containers of power. There is 'Life' in the Word and I'm all about getting the Word on the inside of me, the sticky side of my mind (so to speak). I am very grateful for the gift of each new day to start over.

The quest of the N2God street store has been much more about evangelizing than making a profit. Covering overhead? What does that mean? It's all good. 'A dusted off dream' and a place for me to heal from one of the hardest tragedies I've been through..and continue to heal. The little N2God Store has given me more than I could have ever imagined.

This post created to 'capture' memories and that I've experienced. I have recognized, received and have gone on bravely sharing all the gifts from my loving God in deep love of God and neighbor. The little N2God store has been one of the places I have loved out loud receiving more than I've given.

The N2God Store wasn't really a dusted off dream at all. It has been a place where I've been held in the palm of God's hand. Both a healing and loving environment.

If you are interested in purchasing art, prayer cards and inspiration....please visit
www.N2God.com We appreciate everyone who visited the little N2God Store...over these years. Thank you for taking the time to read my post 'A whole lot of Love!'.  It has been that and a whole lot more.

God is with us. The best is yet to come.
